p s y c h o t h e r a p i s t ¡Yo hablo español! We are all capable of improving ourselves. I enjoy learning from various sources to help share what I learn with others. I have been privileged to provide support and care to clients for several years. I love having the client be the author of their change. Coming to therapy can be a nervous and daunting process. I provide a safe and listening atmosphere where change can happen.

Professional essentials

I received my Masters of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2016. I have worked with adults, families, and adolescents in an outpatient setting. I have done counseling and groups in English and Spanish. I have also performed assessments and mental health evaluations. I use evidence-based practices to help develop your resilience. I am trained in EMDR, The Flash Technique, CBT, DBT, Gottman Method (Couples), IFS Immersion, and Play Therapy. I specialize in trauma reprocessing, substance use, anxiety, depression, and mindfulness. I believe when one is in therapy, their other relationships improve because they are changing and working on themselves. It would be a privilege to be with you on your journey of growth.

Personal morsels

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids. Some of my hobbies are playing basketball, reading fantasy and self-help books, and Tabata.
